What is the smallest size of AC motor ?

What is the smallest size of AC motor ?

(OP)
Hi all,

I'm trying to surf the internet seeking the smallest size of AC motor on the market. To be precise, I need 230Vac, 50Hz, max 1A, less then 0.1kW and of course, the smallest dimension/size of the motor itself. Could someone help me please ?

Parvalux specialise in sub-fractional HP machines, in fact they don't make any big ones.

What speed are you looking for?

Thanks guys !

Actually, I'm testing one of the inverter product. As a tester, it would be convenience if I could have all components (controllers, inverter, motor, etc) in one place lying at my desk. I've seen other testing activities using big motor (in term of dimension) and it would required a big test rack.

I'm not familiar with "sub-fractional" motor. What's the difference with common AC motor ?

Fangas : thanks for the link. I'll try it !

Scotty : above 1000 rpm. However, dimension factor seems to be my focus.

For high power density I believe universal motors or BLDC motors are near the top.  Don't know how small they make them though.
