Hello all I am very much intrested to get my first step in the industry so please help me I am an electricians mate with practical experiance in domestic wiring,Helper in installing residential split units,performing tasks such as hanging indoor and out door units,pipe fitting flare and compression joints,liquid and suction line insulation and duct work,cleaning condensor and evaporator coils,return air filters,installing condensate drains,wall mount brackets for out door units,etc. I have been reading Airconditioning and refrigeration technology 5th edition(a book from USA)which has given me a huge insight into the hvac industry so I am well familiar with the basic or core knowledge and have knowledge of Evacuation,Recovery,leak testing under standing pressure,under deep vaccum,charging methods,both liquid and vapour,calculating superheat and subcooling,reading P/T charts, using manufacturers charging charts to add or fully charge a unit,when to attach external metering devices to gauge lines for liquid charging for refrigerants such as zeotropes to avoid fractionation,measuring and checking the  FLA and LRAs on compressors,reading pressure /enthalpy charts,methods of charging TXVs and orifice metering devices taking into account critically charged unit,fault diagnostics with evaporators,condensors,metering devices,compressors,high or low charge etc. etc. these are a few things which i have written just from top of my head to give you an insight into my self study bieng a complete novice in this field question is some one suggesred i do F gas 2079 course for a first job in the industry I am 49 years of ageand  dew to a late marriage i father a 3year old son and a one year old daughter and im financially very week so before i take up this course and spend about &1100. can someone give me an honest opinion if i will be able to get a job even as a helper to start with or does someone know who needs a helper as im ready to do any thing to secure a job and i can prove my self worthy with mature,honest, and hard working. i shall be very greatful thanks in advance to all.
