inconsistent mate

(OP)
Hi all,
I have an sub assy with a few configurations. The default makes up a part of the main assembly and has a degree of freedom which I would use to check some moving clearances, when added flexible to the main. The other configs of the sub are locked solid for use in drawings. The issue is that the default sub, which is moveable, is locked solid in the main. The one mate locking the sub is suppressed in the sub but resolved in the main assy? Has anyone seen this?

RE: inconsistent mate

Are you making the sub-assembly "flexible" in your main assembly?
