Constant Pressure Water System

Constant Pressure Water System

Constant Pressure Water System

(OP)
Hi All! We're currently planning to convert our water distribution system from an overhead storage/gravity flow system to a constant pressure water system. Our consumption is estimated at 120-150 cu.m/day. How do i size my pump and bladder tank?

thank you,
Maxhead07

Contact someone like Grundfos pumps - they have all the data you need to size and select your equipment.

RE: Constant Pressure Water System

You will need to basically do a fixture count that will get you a flow rate per minute rather than per day.  The bladder tank used does not provide too much water, just cuts down on the cycling of the pumps.  I would recommend using a VFD system, lots less energy and you don't need a tank!
