Question about the UGII_SMP_ENABLE variable, if this is set to 1 in the UGII_ENV.DAT file thus this only affect working with parasolids and/or some booleans operations?  Or whill general preformance of NX be improved?

I'm working on NX4.0.4.2 with MP6 on a Dell Precision T7400, with 2 Intel Xeon E5410@2.33GHz processors.

Thanks in advance,

best regards,

Michaël.

RE: UGII_SMP_ENABLE

At the PLM World meeting they previewed some NX7 stuff.  One of the things I saw was the ability to generate a tool path in the back ground.  They said it would take advantage of dual or multi processors.  This has been a long awaited issue for manufacturing.
