Update of boolean operations with solids ?

Update of boolean operations with solids ?

Update of boolean operations with solids ?

(OP)
Hello all,

I have just created some bodies using boolean operations with other bodies (add) at the part and product level.

Well, when I make a change to the original bodies the resulting "boolean" bodies just do not update. I must delete and recreate them.

When I do the same using the "old way" (copy-pasting the sketches (with link) between bodies/parts) it works.

Has anybody got any clue? Thanks for any help!

BTW I'm using V5R8.

Friedrich

Check tools/options in part designer if you have the "keep link with selected objects" turned on

Friedrich - are you using a legitimate copy of the software?  (as opposed to a downloaded version)

Just curious, based on your past posts.  Seems like you are "testing" a lot...

Main Menu/Edit/Links and then choose Load or something like that.
