Wave runup analysis

Wave runup analysis

(OP)
Does anyone know how to compute wave runup on vertical walls using empirical analysis?  In addition, does anyone know where can I get a copy of the USACE, 1984 Shore Protection Manual?

Thanks,
KM

RE: Wave runup analysis

The 1984 Shore Protection Manual can be found here: Volume 1, Volume 2, Volume 3.

Chapter 7 (Volume 2) should have the info you're looking for.

Regards.

RE: Wave runup analysis

We have received reply from Eric france for slipway pull.
We have used winch capacity of 20tons but it has fail to pull the vessel.
However we have used two single sheave pulley blocks and made the pulling ropes as three falls. This has helped to pull the vessel up.
Now we are having 250 mm wheel diameter and if we increase the diameter to 500 mm then the pulling capacity by the winch will be reduced.
By how much percent it will be reduced?
