tif to sketch

tif to sketch

tif to sketch

(OP)
Hey

I am trying to create sketch from tif file. I open Sketch Tracer -> Create Immersive Sketch -> tif file .....and nothing. What is wrong.

Regards
Santa123

RE: tif to sketch

I've never tried this.

Is there a certain license needed to make that work? It sounds like what happens what I try to open a STEP file (before activating the license).

RE: tif to sketch

there is some extra setting needed for this w/b .. first of all you needed to set-up your visualization mode in material mode and set a view e.g. front,side,back.... after doing all the settings if the sketch is not still coming than there might be some license problem..

Thank's a lot sanket123, it works, but how can I create sketch

RE: tif to sketch

you need to work with a product , while your photo/picture is ready than simply insert a part on that same assembly, activate that part. and go to sketcher mode.. and sketch as per the profile,,,,, thats all enjoy..

RE: tif to sketch

I imported the tif file from scaner, it works, but the scale of the imported tif file is not 1:1. Why!

RE: tif to sketch

(OP)

I did it at scale 1:1. I read this thread, very helpful.
