Inventor Professional 11 Utilized On MS SB 2003 Server

Inventor Professional 11 Utilized On MS SB 2003 Server

(OP)
First I Am Using Inventor Professional 11 On MS SB 2003 Server. (Log in remotely to use often!)

Seem to be having a difficult time with my Text displaying in IDW file.

Know for similar issue there is a patch for XPP ->KB918118 from MS but this is just for XPP.

Need to know if there is a fix for the INV program being used on an actual SB Server?

Thank You In Advance...Jim B

difficult time displaying or not displaying at all?.. Could be 2 totally different issues.

RE: Inventor Professional 11 Utilized On MS SB 2003 Server

And your on an unsupported operating system which is NOT a good idea.

But
The following should work for you:
- search for the file "riched20.dll" in a hotfix backup folder
- copy this file "riched20.dll" to the "bin" folder in your installation
folder of your IV installation
- start IV and hopefully be happy

If not good luck...

Though DIM text display fully, Text does not display @ all in the ipt & idw files alike.

Realize SBS OS is not supported but it did work in earlier versions. Will try what you stated above & confirm in any event..Thank You ..JIm B
