GHT Thread geometry

GHT Thread geometry

GHT Thread geometry

(OP)
I have been asked from a friend customer to have informations about a 3/4-11 1/2 Garden Hose thread.
I have found a 3/4-11 1/2 GHT thread but have no geometry informations for machining does anybody have or can anybody address me?
I have even read of a NH type thread with same diameter and TPI are they equivalent? where to find standards for these rather uncommon (at least for us, metric guys)threads?
Thanks

RE: GHT Thread geometry

I believe you are on the right track with the NH type thread dpending on how you will manufacture the thread. Look up "ANSI Standard Hose Coupling Screw Threads" in the Machinery's Handbook. You should find what you need there.
