Hi all,
Anyone know where I can get some information on the details of the cam designer in solidworks?

RE: cams in SW

Are you referring to Camnetics Camtrax?  There are several gold partners listed on the solidworks site when you search CAM.  Unfortunately, most of those are in regards to Computer Aided Manufacturing.  The only one I found (I looked quickly) was Camtrax.  I had never heard of Camtrax, however am slightly familiar with the Camnetics Geartrax package.  I have never used the product, but it has been around a while.  As far as I am aware, it is the recommended package for gear design.  I can only assume the same for the cam package.  Keep us posted on your findings.

I am waiting for info from our VAR, though I don't believe they have much experience.
I am referring to the cam designer in toolbox. The utility lets you create a few types of cams, with variuos path options. Thanks
