In NX 6 drafting I am having trouble placing a datum feature symbol away from the end face on a cylinder with an extension line.  It works when you pick the cylintrical face.  Is there a setting somewhere that will let me achieve the red datum feature symbol I sketched in the attachment?

RE: Datum feature symbol extended from a cylindrical end face

Is this Datum/Leader configuration/arrangement supported as part of a recognized standard?

To an Engineer, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.

I suggest that you contact GTAC and have them open an IR/PR as lack of complete support of standard.
