trouble importing manning's n values from arcmap via hec-georas

trouble importing manning's n values from arcmap via hec-georas

(OP)
I'm using HEC-GeoRAS 4.1.1 and ArcGIS 9.3 sp1.

Using HEC-GeoRAS, I am able to create a Manning table for Manning's n values that appears to be correct.  I select this table in the Layer Setup and extract the GIS data, but it is not included when I import this data into HEC-RAS.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

RE: trouble importing manning's n values from arcmap via hec-georas

In RAS Geometry have you run Manning's N Values -> Create LU Manning Table and Extract N Values after you processed all cut lines? In HEC, you will know this worked as either a single N Value will be populated at the first station if using Global N, the LOB, Channel, and ROB values will be N/A and greyed out. If you want to edit them, you have to uncheck Horizontal Variation in N Values.

I ended up just starting over, which worked aside from it taking forever to re-make the layer.  I'm still not sure what the problem was, since the Manning table was populating just fine.
