Electrical servo brake with Manual override adjustment?

Electrical servo brake with Manual override adjustment?

Electrical servo brake with Manual override adjustment?

(OP)
I am looking for an electrical servo brake for the motor. Once the power is off, it will lock the motor output shaft at its position. Once the power is on, the brake will be energized and released to transmit the torque over the shaft. Also, the brake will have some kind of manual release once its power is off, so that customers are able to do a manual rotation adjustment over the shaft without re-enegizing the brake.

Does something like this exist in the market? Thanks in advance.

RE: Electrical servo brake with Manual override adjustment?

The brake is integral to the servomotor.  Ask your servomotor vendor.

Thanks for your reply, Handleman.

Sorry to forget to tell you the motor we are using is a DC rotary stepper motor. The power off brake is separate from the motor unfortunately.

Baldor Electric, Electroid, Lenze, MicroMo Electronics, Inc., Maxon, Thomson (Danaher), etc. etc.
