Airfoil modelling

(OP)
Hey
I am trying to draw an airfoil section for a clark y airfoil in NX6 but if I try going thru the std procedure i.e. going to Curve--> Spline...I dont have the option of Spline under curves in the first place. Am I missing out on smething??

RE: Airfoil modelling

You could use either Insert>Curve>Spline or Insert>Curve>Studio Spline and you might want to familiarise yourself with both.

What you can do is go into the menu customisation and find the spline command with its icon under curves then drag and drop this onto the pull down menubar tab.

If you don't want to go to all of that trouble then start with using the advanced with full menus tab. This is the way most people would probably choose to go about things.

Best Regards
