Disasu software help

Disasu software help

Disasu software help

(OP)
Are there any Disasu users over here?
We really want to test this software, but we cannot get it up and running.

It seems it doesn't like Windows Vista?
On our XP machines, we managed to get some more out of it, but the registering for a demo version keeps on crashing (server problems?)

There is very little information to find on the internet about this software, but there are 2 different main websites with similar information?

Is this program still existing and being developed? It is strange that ASME ed 2007 is mentioned (not add.08?), but windows is only supported up to NT/2000, not XP or Vista.

RE: Disasu software help

It was as per my information used by Stone & Webster USA till 2008. Unsure if they still use it.

it's good for a quick design where you don't "build" the vessel like Compress or PV Elite.  Many Engineering companies use it for wall thickness, weights, base design, and first run drawings where designers can just plug in basic information and the program spits it out.

RE: Disasu software help

I find Advanced Pressure Vessel to be useful for vessel design or quick checks as well.  It works on Vista and 64bit systems also.
