drafting - shaded view

(OP)
Hello,

I am curently using NX 4.0.4.2 and i would like to know if is possible to insert a shaded view, or maybe something like invert colors that will fill a view.

I have attached a picture for better understanding (done in paint)

Thank You,
Gabi

RE: drafting - shaded view

That capability was not added to NX until NX 5.0.  With NX 4.0 the best that you will be able to do would be to create an image file (in .jpg, .png or .tif format) of the view of interest and paste it onto the face of your drawing using the...

...function.  Note that this will be a 'static' image and will need to be replaced if your model changes, however once placed, it will meet your basic requirements.
