"Global" part properties for flat patterns

"Global" part properties for flat patterns

"Global" part properties for flat patterns

(OP)
Hi,
We are having problems with our part properties.
When we populate the dialog box with rev.no., part no. etc.., the properties show up just fine on the first drawing sheet however, when we add a second sheet with a flat pattern for water jet cutting, the correct properties are not being picked up.
We have to fill in the "default" and "flat pattern" part properties with the same revision no.
Is there a way to set the part properties "globally"?
We would like to fill in the info. once and have it propagate through any and all configs.
Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

JW

RE: "Global" part properties for flat patterns

Use the Custom tab for global (all-configs) properties.
Use the Configuration Specific tab for, ummm, configuration specific properties.

Thanks.
Seems to me that we had tried that....
Seems to work now though..

Cheers,

JW
