Polymer with a coeffecient of Friction & high Hardness Value(Clamping)

Hi,
I am looking for material(Polymer) which has high coefficient of friction and high hardness value. Please tell me if you know one.
Our problem is we are currently using Nylon as clamping jaw plate surface material. (For clamping steel wires) But there is a slippage problem from the clamps. So I was looking for a polymer with high coefficient of friction(Lowering Slippage) and high hardness (Hardness lower than steel.

You need a filled polymer. Add some wollastonite or glass fiber to your polymer. They should increase COF and hardness.

Look for materials for free at www.matweb.com or contact a company with plenty of material options such as RTP or PolyOne.
