LFO Tank Nozzle Inlet Location

LFO Tank Nozzle Inlet Location

I am currently designing a LFO tank(Height is 12 meters). I need your help related to LFO inlet nozzle placement. Can you please advise where to place inlet nozzle, namely from bottom or up of the tank?

Kind Regards

RE: LFO Tank Nozzle Inlet Location

I dont see any reason why you wouldnt place it near the bottom of the tank, as with most standard tank designs.

Check out API-650, Section 5.7 for all of your design criteria and requirements.

Hope this helps.

i am afraid of static electricity because of friction when pumping  LFO from bottom to the tank inside.
