Solid edge ST UI problem! (not a rant, i promise!)

Solid edge ST UI problem! (not a rant, i promise!)

(OP)
Hi, i need help, we are basically moving over to solid edge ST from solid edge v18 so im just going through the tutorials and iv hit quite a big snag with the ui immediatly
(other than it looking awful and wishing it had the old one!)

if i create a new part file from the template "sync iso part" everything is there and it looks good, but if im to open a tutorial file or any other file that comes with the solid edge training i get this UI that is missing half of the buttons!

Please sombody help, i assume its probably a simple fault on my part.

see attached images for a better explaination.

RE: Solid edge ST UI problem! (not a rant, i promise!)

Hi,

that's OK. The UI for traditional and synchronous part
share only the UI but not the arrangement. So working
a trad. part tutorial you get that arrangement. Select a
sync. tutorial und voila the missing buttons are there winky smile

Note: in sync modus you don't have a sketch or profile
environment any longer wheras in trad. you still have and
thus the missing buttons will be shown only when in sketch or
profile environment
