What if we got this error message, and we have parts from a company that no longer exists?   We have no legal recourse.
The situation here in Michigan is pretty bad.

I've never had this but have heard it reported that when it occurs as long as you're not the culprit then GTAC may choose to fix the problem in good faith supposing that the data was obtained from somebody else doing the wrong thing.
