I have a large list of 3D coordinates (inspection points on pipeline) and want to plot a path to sweep a curve (the pipe)

I've done this in the past with IDEAS, and have recently began working with NX-6. Is there a way to do this easily in NX6.

I have hundreds of data points, so I don't want to manually enter and connect them, and NX-6 seems to like all of the sketches done in 2D 'planar' space.

Is there a tool or function I'm overlooking?

RE: Plot 3D Coordinates

You could try

Insert > Curve > Spline > Through Points > Points from File

Thanks, that's what I was looking for.
