Could you please tell me if there is any standard that state how to carry out calculations regarding perforated piping to be used as water distributor. Number of holes and holes flow area

Track down IPA (Industrial Perforators Assoc) on the web they have a design guide for liquid as well as gas flow thru perforated metal.

Hi All

Thanks a lot for your support, however I want to share with all of you the results of my search.

Perforated piping design can be found in Chapter # 6 of the Perry´s Chemical Engineer Handbook. You will find an example about it.
