SolidWorks Drawings

SolidWorks Drawings

(OP)
I am new to SolidWorks and when printing my drawings, my notes are black while my dimensions are grey. Primarily I would like to have all dimensions and notes in black.  Secondly I'd like for the hole page to be printed in black/white (the borders are greyscale as well).  Any help you may provide would be greatly appreciated.

-Thanks

RE: SolidWorks Drawings

File->Print, hit the "Page Setup" button.  In the "Drawing Color" option button group, select "Black and White".

Thanks, I only came here because I read another thread referencing this thread but it was nowhere to be found.

RE: SolidWorks Drawings

For dimensions, change the colour in Tools > Options > Colors > Dimensions, Non Imported (Driven) to black.

For the drawing border, change the line colour in the Sheet Format using the Line Format toolbar.

RE: SolidWorks Drawings

That, or put all dimensions on a layer and they will take on the layer color.

RE: SolidWorks Drawings

SW does drawings? Ok, its a feature I probably should use more often...

SW doesn't do drawings.

I'll go farther; it actively fights generation of anything that resembles a drawing.
