What is the best-practice method to obtain section moment of inertia properties?
And, as a follow on, wouldn't it be nice if there was an option to calculate section inertia properties (and other properties such as center of gravity, cross sectional area, etc) directly upon creation of a New Section (ie in NX6)?

Analysis -> Section Inertia...
...function to find the Section properties, which are created as a PMI note/annotation.
I'll check later and will try and upload the video again.

It just seems like with the New Section dialogue, the user is going through a very similar workflow as in the Analysis > Section Inertia dialogue, so why not have the option of seeing section area, inertia, CG, etc properties right there?
Also, a lot of times, the designer is curious about a section's inertia, without necessarily needing/wanting a persistent PMI entity.
