Motion simulation- hydraulic cylinder

Motion simulation- hydraulic cylinder

Motion simulation- hydraulic cylinder

(OP)
Hi all,

I added a flywheel mechanism(motion analysis) to the attachment.
I need to simulate the cylinder motion with force motion element. Element Force1 is the hydraulic cylinder force.
The value for Force1 is not my original value. This is a simplified one.
Because of starting value is to high, cylinder motion is continue. But in real life, piston can't move more high because of the restrictions at the hydraulic cylinder mechanism.

I tried to use limit distance mate. But it did not work correctly. Solidworks motion sensed that there is a limit distance but couldnt have to do correct motions.

I suppressed the limit mate and then used a 3dcontact. But i think 3dcontact does not work with force actuated mechanism. Because i get errors at the ends always.

Is there any body who has an idea about best solution?

Sorry for my perfect English. I hope i had to explained my problem.

I am grateful to every body who endured to me.

RE: Motion simulation- hydraulic cylinder

Cosmos Motion cannot accurately simulate a hydraulic cylinder. I have requested a hydraulic cylinder feature many times since 2003. A poor work around is to use a spring damper with travel limits.
