Linking text and a surrounding box togther ?

Linking text and a surrounding box togther ?

Linking text and a surrounding box togther ?

(OP)
Gentleman,

1. Is there a way to link text and a sketch box around the text together, so they move together?
2. Can I then intern dimension to the text?
3. Can I dimension a block of multiple entities as one whole unit to move and place in a drawing together with an overall X, Y placement?

Thanks....

RE: Linking text and a surrounding box togther ?

You have the option to put a box around text via the border control in the properties panel on the right side of your screen. If you take said "block" of multiple entities and make them into a block, you can dimension to x, y in the note dialog box, though I don't believe it will lock them in position.
