Save/export deformed geometry

Save/export deformed geometry

Save/export deformed geometry

(OP)
Hi.

I have to perform a static analisys on a model and then I need to perform a transient thermal analisys on a contact region of the new deformed geometry. I tried with a coupled effect analisys in WB and in Ansys Classic (using relase 12.0) to bypass the problem but it was useless.
I also read about the command UPGEOM and UPCOORD, to resume the deformed element, nodes, geometry, etc and giving input for thermal transient analisys, but it does not work too.
Can someone give me any suggestion to solve the problem?

Thanks

RE: Save/export deformed geometry

Hi

I did several analysis like this and the upgeom commando just works fine, so I think that there is some other problem here.
First Question do you have a deformed model after the upgeom?
