Floating ball system for floating roof tanks

Floating ball system for floating roof tanks

Floating ball system for floating roof tanks

(OP)
Does anyone have any information or can steer me about using a group of balls on top of the product in an internal floating roof tank? This is probably for maintenance or emergencies only. This system also uses screens over the tank outlets to prevent the balls from evacuating with the product.

Thanks. -Mike van der Gaag, mvandergaag@industria.com

RE: Floating ball system for floating roof tanks

Mike,
You may want to try Petrex, I belive they are in PA.
I own a company that makes Floating Suctions for storage tanks but not Floating Roofs.

Rob, Great tip! You'd be surprised how few have ever heard of this type of technology. Many thanks. -m
