palettes with submaps

palettes with submaps

palettes with submaps

(OP)

Hi,

When adding palettes, most of the time we use Preference - palettes - and then 'open directory as palette'
Now it includes only the main map but not the sub maps

Is it possible to include also the sub maps?
Is it also possible to change the presentation name of each part?

Thanks alot,
Robijn

ps: I'm using nx5 with winxp 32bit

RE: palettes with submaps

Not sure what you mean by 'sub maps'?  What sort of 'objects' are you putting on the Palette?

RE: palettes with submaps

Into the palette I want to add maps like the history maps (yesterday, last week, last 3 weeks...).
But with the names 'switches', 'pullrelief', 'terminal block' , ...  And in these maps all the .prt files.

Instead of having 15 different palettes with .prt files, I want to reduce these to head groups, like a palette for elektrical device and than the sub maps (or sub palettes)

Thanks

RE: palettes with submaps

May I suggest that you investigate adding your parts to the 'Reuse Library'  where you can structure the palette however you like.
