Harting Extruder gear reducer disassembly???

Harting Extruder gear reducer disassembly???

Harting Extruder gear reducer disassembly???

(OP)
Greetings,

Does anyone have information on an old Harting Extruder machine?  This machine is used in the blow molding industry.  I have been asked to look at an inline gear reducer and can not get the gear set out of the housing.  I can follow up with more information if anyone can help.  I have not been able to track the company down. This unit was manufactured in 1963 and I do not think they are in business at this time.

Respectfully,

Seeing as you've not had any response to your enquiry, you may have more luck if you red flag this post and then try asking your question in one of the specific Plastics Industry forums on this site (see below)

Good luck!

RE: Harting Extruder gear reducer disassembly???

Hartig was aquired by Davis Standard in 1996 they may be able to help.{860 599-1010}. Also the gear reducer on your Hartig machine is probably a Link-belt which is now Rexnord and this product may still be supported.
