oil insoluble grease or paste needed

oil insoluble grease or paste needed

(OP)
We have a grease filled labyrinth as part of the seal on a large oil lubricated bearing (horizontal shaft).  The lubricating oil is supposed to be directed away from the labyrinth by a system of oil slingers and scrapers.

There is a slight oil leak that makes a big mess near the bottom of the bearing, washing out purged grease.

We are still working to identify the leak source, and have mitigating schemes for most of the likely sources.

The situation that scares me most is if the internal oil management is failing, and the oil is entering the labyrith high on the shaft and saturating the grease.

is there a grease or paste with minimal lubricating properties that is completely insoluble in oil?  I think that would help a lot.

thanks,
Dan T

Molykote paste? It is silicone-based and high in solid lubricants.
