Weld Symbol in Drafting for NX5

Weld Symbol in Drafting for NX5

Weld Symbol in Drafting for NX5

(OP)
When inserting a weld symbol in drafting mode I am not able to find how to include the symbol that would imply that the weld is all the way around.  This would be a circle at the point of intersection on the leader.

Thanks in advance,

Lurks

RE: Weld Symbol in Drafting for NX5

Insert --> Symbol --> Weld Symbol.  In the Selection toolbar just
above the cue line, select the Leader Tool icon.  Note - this part of the
Selection toolbar will only appear when the Weld Symbol function is open.

In the Leader Tool dialog, select the Leader Type dropdown.  The all-around
leader type is selectable from the dropdown.

RE: Weld Symbol in Drafting for NX5

The leader type tool icon appears on the selection bar when you create any kind if annotation including Notes, GD&T, ID Symbols and of course Weld Symbols. It probably isn't where you expect to find in when searching through the weld symbol dialogs.

Best Regards

RE: Weld Symbol in Drafting for NX5

Just checked NX6, the all around leader option is now part of the weld dialogue, just where you'd expect it, well done Siemens
