I am trying to model a plant hanger from 1/4 x 1 inch flat bar. I need the "flat" part to twist 90 degrees so all my bends will be on the wide (easy) side.

There must be an easy way... but it escapes me

Thanks.. I will read some help files and have a go with both suggestions. I may be back looking for more details..

You can also use the "Sketched Bend" feature from the Sheet Metal functionality.

You may also be able to do what you want with a simple loft if you control the connections between section corners.

When you have time work on the "Lofts" tutorial and (towards the end of the lesson) learn the Flex feature - it really is cool, and should be able to do what you want.
