Is the standard USAS B16.30 still used?

Is the standard USAS B16.30 still used?

Is the standard USAS B16.30 still used?

(OP)
One of my older colleagues in his lecture informed that long time back they made use of B 16.30 for selecting vessel Girt Flanges and that B16.30 was in general use for ASME Sec I items and it used allowable stress of plate SA 285 gr C and that of  bar A 306.

1)    Is the standard B 16.30 still in use
2)    Was this B16.30 permitted to be used in ASME Sec VIII Div 1 vessels or was this limited to ASME Sec I items.

RE: Is the standard USAS B16.30 still used?

The last edition of ASME B16.30 was the 1969 edition;- today is an obsolete, non-applicable standard. I don't know when it was withdrawn, but is not in use today.
Cheers,
