Ok,
I dont like to rant on forums but ST is really starting to get on my nerves. I have always disliked the docking undocking feature of the edgebar or whatever it is these days. now its drivin me nuts! what is going on here, it blocks half my screen, and the only way to get rid of it is to shut down SE alltogether.

Please help

I want the old ribbon bar back! this is totally ridiculous. the edge bar or whatever changes from part to draft to assembly, nothing is logical anymore. I hope they fix this. ST is the biggest Cluster %$#@# ever

RE: edgebar blocking half my screen, wont go away

Maybe we all need twin-screen set-ups, one for the edge-bar and one for the modeling window.
It isn't quite so bad on a big wide format screen, but on the old 4:3 format it's crap.
Having said that, I found that the old ribbon interface on a 24" widescreen gives an A3 size drawing area in draft, which is great when all your drawings are printed A3.
