Transverse versus Longitudinal Impact Values

(OP)
I am looking for some definitive data or a comparative study of transverse versus longitudinal impact test results for carbon steel plate (1/4" through 3").  I would appreciate it if you could forward to me any information or people you know who might have some knowledge on this subject.  Thanks

RE: Transverse versus Longitudinal Impact Values

Did you perform a Google search on this topic? You should be able to find either Materials Science/Engineering lectures on this subject, technical papers or other information in the public domain.
