Part removal from shuttle table

Part removal from shuttle table

Part removal from shuttle table

(OP)
Just wanting input...

What are others doing to remove large numbers of parts from the outside shuttle table?  Are all parts double tabbed?  How is sheet picked off the table while keeping hold of parts?  I find my operator spends more time removing parts from finger table than I like.

We do not have an automation system.

Jef.

RE: Part removal from shuttle table

We never double tab i find it too difficult to remove parts from sheet when double tabbed. single tab should be sufficient unless parts are too small to rest on one support  grid even if this is the case a slightly larger tab would be fine. then after sheet is cut lift sheet from table with plate clamp suspend over a piece of cardboard and shake the sheet. the parts fall onto the cardboard and can be gathered easily.
