Plug_rounhead_vs_hexagonal_head
(OP)
Dear all,
my client is rejecting all hexagonal head plugs (ASME B16.11) aking the replacement by round head ones (ASME B16.11).
I barely remember that some client prefers round head type for safety reasons but now i can not find exactly which could be the concern on hexagonal type, can you help me??
Thank you in advance
Giuss

RE: Plug_rounhead_vs_hexagonal_head
The "Round Head" plugs (often called "Bull Plugs") are 3" to 4" long when installed and so even when rusted in place there is plenty of room to get a big pipe wrench on them. They come right out.
It is a simple maintenance issue.
