Cell Library

(OP)
Can anyone please help me? How do I create a cell library so I can create cells and store them in one place.

Any help much appreciated smile

RE: Cell Library

Use the Help File it will walk you through it.

RE: Cell Library

create a dgn eg mycell.dgn with your seed file then in explorer rename mycell.dgn to  mycell.cell
and  you will now  have a  empty cell library call mycell
now you use the  model  copy  model  etc to make  additional cell within the cell library or  use the  traditional old school pre v8  method of draw, add origin and  fence > create cell etc...

RE: Cell Library

You can also select "Element > Cells" to open the cells dialog and use the "File > New" command.

Thank you all for your help.  I worked it out and is much better although Microstation still seems to have a mind of its own sometimes.
