GROUP command in STAAD

GROUP command in STAAD

(OP)
I do not know what I did wrong to the model, but I just could not get the correct answer if I use "START GROUP DEFINITION" command in STAAD.

At first, I thought it was a good idea to define groups of elements which are subjected to different load values. I got no error when I opened the file, and the GUI showed me the correct load values and locations. However, when I ran the analysis, I got an incorrect answer. Then, if I replaced the group (_mygroup) with all elements in the group, I can get the correct answer.
