WHAT DOES THIS ERROR MEAN?

WHAT DOES THIS ERROR MEAN?

WHAT DOES THIS ERROR MEAN?

(OP)
I am setting up template parts, and when adding annotations, and ID symbols, I sometimes get an error that says "annotation specified connot have an associative origin".  If I OK the error and then try to place the symbol or note again it works.  This occurs when creating the symbol or note with a leader line.

I am using NX5.

RE: WHAT DOES THIS ERROR MEAN?

... NX504 ? update to 5.05 then its fixed

RE: WHAT DOES THIS ERROR MEAN?

That used to happen often to me when I would try to place the annotation or symbol inside of a view boundary, close to a boundary edge.  I think it has been fixed, as uwam2ie posts.
