as far as ı know the vacuum is a better dielectric than air but when we look at the material properties chart of them we see that dielectric constant is higher for air. so am i wrong when i think that vacuum is the best dielectric of all materials but as coefficient it has 1 and air is 1,006 also sf6 is 2 3 times better dielectric than air, so what is its dielectric constant? a glass has 6 7 constant so which one is best dielectric vacuum (or air ) or glass?
i am confused altogether....

RE: dielectrics..
The vacuum is the best insulator as its specific resistance is almost infinite and there is no dielectric losses[tangdelta=0].The dielectric constant is the minimum so for a same distance between two plate the vacuum dielectric will present the minimum capacity then a maximum capacitive reactance.
