Weldment Cut-List Column Question (Length & Angle)

Weldment Cut-List Column Question (Length & Angle)

Weldment Cut-List Column Question (Length & Angle)

(OP)
Hello all,
I have a new cut-list question hopefully someone will be able to shed some light upon.

In my cut-list I need to show "LENGTH" & "ANGLE" but these do not show up in the list of options under the column properties.  The options it does give me are (UNIT_OF_MEASURE, DESCRIPTION, WEIGHT).  How do I get the ("LENGTH" & "ANGLE") to show up in the cut-list so they automatically update?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions,
BB

RE: Weldment Cut-List Column Question (Length & Angle)

BB,

Within your Weldment profile Library feature part .sldlfp you need to add "Length-Angle" or Length & Angle in as a property and in the value column link the property to a sketch dimension.

If you name your sketch dims L & A or L1 Al respectively you can push those dimensions to control property.

Length- "L@SEC@MIKEcust.SLDLFP" X "A@SEC@MIKEcust.SLDLFP"
Where L was Length dimension symbol "L@SketchName"
A is "A@SketchName and (Length-) and ( X ) are text to space out values

As you are typing in the Property Value/Text expression, you can select displayed dimensions on screen if Show Feature dimensions option is selected from Annotations folder in tree. When you select the dimension it will be added in text form "Dim@Feat@Part" You may also copy an existing WEldment feature part and edit the dimensions called out to use your dimension names.
