Importing dwg and text

Importing dwg and text

Importing dwg and text

(OP)
Is there a known solution to fix the "carriage return" problem when importing a dwg into microstations?  Whenever I import a file, the dimension text, or annotation text, is spaced down a line for each space between words:
STUB ACME becomes:

STUB
ACME

Any ideas?

RE: Importing dwg and text

Dude,
I know this is an old thread ... but
In AutoCAd ... Have you tried to "BURST" everything 3 times?
"PURGE" the file 3 times too before exiting.
This should drop everything in AutoCAD and make it an easier import for you.

Hope this helps anyone out there...
