Cofferdam removal confusion

Cofferdam removal confusion

Cofferdam removal confusion

(OP)
I am in a construction estimating class putting together a cost estimate for a precast concrete culvert and am slightly confused by the cofferdam removal. After it is removed what do you fill it in with. The culvert sections shows several layers of different types of fill. When the cofferdam is removed how do you fill in the proper amount of specified material. Moreover, how do they lay the geotextile bedding in the void where the cofferdam once was?

RE: Cofferdam removal confusion

Depends on how you remove the cofferdam and how it was construted
