Packing & Preservation Procedure

Packing & Preservation Procedure

Packing & Preservation Procedure

(OP)
Hi ya'll,
I'm trying to write a standard "Packing & Preservation" procedure for the equipment we assemble.  Most of the equipment is low voltage PLC's and the like, that are packaged and shipped to various parts of the world.

We're often asked for the procedure as part of the document requirements for our client.

Does anyone know of a web site, or have some procedures they'd be willing to share?

Regards,
Dan Marr

RE: Packing & Preservation Procedure

See what you make of Def Stan 81-41

(available in elephant-bite-sized chunks at
http://www.dstan.mod.uk/data/standev/81e.php )

- also some more specific documents on the same page which may come closer to your products (eg 81-65)

Zeusfaber,

Thanks for the link.  I've downloaded the 6 parts and will give them a read.  The web site also appeared to have other helpful information.

Thanks again,
Dan
