Simple "Sweep Boss" question..

Simple "Sweep Boss" question..

Simple "Sweep Boss" question..

(OP)
Im trying to figure out how to make this pipe go in both directions. As you can see from the attached picture, I want that blue pipe to go to the right (which it does) but I also want it to go to the left as well.

I used the Swept Boss command, but it wont let me draw the pipe going in both directions.. It says that its wrongly shared by the same endpoint. What can I do differently?

RE: Simple "Sweep Boss" question..

Do you want the pipe to run through the valve, or to create a Tee at the end of the pipe coming from the tank?

Where is the path and profile of the sweep?

The profile has to be at one end of the path.

RE: Simple "Sweep Boss" question..

You can reuse your profile sketch in a second sweep...

RE: Simple "Sweep Boss" question..

To me personally it doesn't make any sense to run the pipe back through the valve, I would just create a pipe on either side to stay true to how it would really be constructed, if you run it back through the valve it would override any internal parts of the valve.
