Pressure surge+ wave speed

(OP)
Dear fellows.
I am doing some pressure surge calculation for a Jetfuel pumping station. For modeling of system, It is be assumed that jetfuel has same properties as kerosene. The piping is of carbon steel.
could someone suggest how to calculate the wavespeed of the kerosene in the piping....?

RE: Pressure surge+ wave speed

Please note the formula and the example given in that site is for water. For other fluids the numerator as well as the other data should be accordingly adjusted.
